I've built delivery from the ground up — more than once.
My career started with writing COBOL on mainframes and evolved into leading multi-project portfolios, coaching Scrum teams, and sitting across the table from C-suite stakeholders to present strategic roadmaps. That breadth — from code to boardroom — is what makes me a different kind of delivery leader.
I don't manage delivery from a distance. I'm in the backlog with the team, I'm in the budget conversation with finance, and I'm in the risk register before anyone else has spotted the problem. My job is to make sure the right things get done, by the right people, in the right order — every sprint.
Whether the title says Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Delivery Manager, the mission is the same: build a team that ships with confidence, and a process that survives beyond my tenure.
No two days are identical in programme delivery — but here's a window into how a typical working day looks when I'm running a multi-project portfolio.
Joined as the organisation's first dedicated delivery leader to build programme governance from scratch across 6 simultaneous projects with a combined 55-member workforce — predominantly freshers. The challenge: build delivery discipline, Agile capability, and reporting infrastructure at the same time, from zero.
Led a 20-member multidisciplinary team delivering mission-critical mainframe Wealth Management solutions for InvestCloud — a global wealth tech firm managing $6T in AUM across 550+ enterprise clients. Full ownership of delivery from design through production rollout.
Served as Scrum Master for global BFSI engagements — Barclays UK (Top-5 global bank) and InvestCloud US ($6T AUM platform) — leading a 15-member cross-functional team across a 4-year tenure. Implemented Scrum from scratch and sustained high-velocity delivery across both accounts.
Dual role as Scrum Master and QA Lead for a 12-member Agile team on Volvo (Sweden) and Allianz Tech (Germany) — my first dedicated Agile leadership role. Drove Agile adoption while owning end-to-end test activities across 6+ release cycles.
Where it all began. Developed COBOL/JCL programmes for regulatory and banking clients — built the technical foundation that informs how I understand engineering teams and delivery constraints to this day.
